I am thrilled to have recently discovered that I have accidentally created the perfect gift to celebrate this celebration-worthy occasion.
I have spent 14 years pursuing the art of porcelain jewellery and have a small studio in Brisbane where we make the work by hand.
What attracted me to this endeavour was the potential I saw in ceramics as a material that could be coloured and shaped with sophistication.
Many ceramic companies have explored porcelain tableware and developed involved and impressive decorative techniques but there aren't so many working in the jewellery space who bring a design approach.
I graduated from a fashion degree and saw the potential in these decorative techniques to translate to well-designed jewellery.
In ceramics I saw possibilities for colour and shape and have spent the last 14 years refining my craft.
